Sprouts of Love school Project 11/28/2011
_Since most of you can’t take a few weeks off, hop on a plane and come visit us we decided to keep you involved through our Blog. Hopefully through our stories and experiences you will be able to gain a sense of our lives and get to know some of the people that we are helping around the world. _Currently we are working on our school project, The school itself will be in the shape of an L. It will consist of seven classrooms, a library, two latrines, a kitchen, and an office. We are also trying to implement gardening as a means of providing for the community. Each classroom can hold up to thirty students. Rain water will be collected using barrels to provide drinking water, irrigation for the garden, and sanitation. The primary school, equivalent to grades 1-7 in the states. Children will learn reading, writing, math, basic life skills, and agriculture. Each classroom will hold up to thirty students.
